VAILLANT BOILER SERVICE CHECKLIST

When you book a Vaillant boiler service with Homecure we apply a series of tests and checks to ensure the safety and efficiency of the boiler. This includes:

Visual inspection

Checking for leaks or signs of corrosion along with a blue pilot flame.

Component check

The engineer removes the boiler casing to check and inspect things like the spark probe, heat exchanged, burner and more.

Flue terminal check

We ensure there are no flue obstructions. The gas pipework, water and seals are also inspected for potential damage.

Boiler readings

We’ll take reading of the flow settings and gas pressure will also be taken to ensure they are at the right level.

Final steps

Once everything is checked, our engineer will turn on the boiler to ensure everything is running well and to spot any outstanding issues with the temperature controls.

I have been using Homecure for years now, they are always professional and helpful. They were quick to respond to an emergency with some plumbing issues when I moved into my new house and I always use them for my boiler services and maintenance. I highly recommend this company.

Really, really poor - plumber turned up over 4 hours late and shut down the boiler due to some irregular readings… 5 days later we were still without hot water and absolutely no sign of this issue being solved. I rang 7 times for an update and every single time I was given a lame excuse blaming the supplier or that the issue is somebody else’s responsibility and that i will get a call back that evening (7 times I’ve been told they’ll call me back - I have not been called back once!…)
FYI - I called another plumber this afternoon and he was round and fixed the problem within 2 hours…
